IT'S 2013 Y'ALL

2012 was... a lot of things haha. When I grow old and look back I'll fondly remember 2012 LOL. School was my life for most of it and it was hard. Heck I think I was rather emotional the entire year because of my grades. Stubbornly hung on to my 4H2s (for reasons I can't very convincingly argue with others about) but I survived! Graduated from school too. Traveling was hell but I don't regret choosing NYJC. I know it's not the most popular thought in my class but well I liked the place because I got to choose it for myself lol.

Made friends there and became closer to some this year, which made school better than it was in 2011. I have people who will listen to me rant but still be my friends! That's amazing really LOL. Of course lost some friends this year and I have regrets but well there are lessons that I've learnt from that and I've grown. Mentally and physically both, shucks stress made me eat so much this year ): Every year I tell myself to put in more effort into being more healthy but every single year I'm too lazy to do anything consistently mehhhhh. I think I've put in more effort into attending family gatherings though! Yes that's something to be praised for.

Work-wise I chose something I'm not as familiar with lol and I'm being challenged every day to talk to people on the phone. I have this fear of talking to people on the phone so yeah I die a little bit every day using the phone omg.

 So yeah that's my 2012 in a few words I guess ahaha. Don't think 2013 will be as exciting (lol) as 2012 because school's only in August but wellllllllllllllllll I ain't a fortune teller.

I think I've gone out more this month than I have for the rest of the year omg


Out with Kailin & Winnie: It's really rare that I go out with people who are of the same age but shorter than me HAHAH was the tallest of the group that day! Was also late as usual, but but but this time I was just a little tiny bit late. LOL. Went to Orchard and being the indecisive people we are, we took a while to decide what to eat. But it was good.

And so was Bishi Bashi.

And so was pool.

Got caught in the rain a bit and I think I screamed a lot that day because of the rain and bishi bashi and pool. But I enjoyed it! Glad that I met up with these girls haha it reminds me of the good ol' days in Chinese class.

Out with Quanli & Yushan: I don't want my friend to get punished so.................

Family gathering: KIDS WILL BE THE DEATH OF ME THAT IS ALL (okay but I like kids related to me more than kids I'm not related to ewww get those away from me). And my elder sister is such a youngster mannnn I can't believe she's a mother.

Work: I don't want to get fired so.......... money is the source of life I tell ya.

The class' BBQ gathering... yeah. Feel damn suaku but wtf man the extent of Novita's wealth amazes me LOL.

So yeah it was planned and executed well! Went for a job interview earlier in the day (and I'm employed now) before going for the BBQ. Bought some milk tea from Gongcha and the dude there kind of acted cute and uhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah I don't feel comfortable when guys try to act like girls who act cute.

Took about years to walk from the MRT station to the house LOL some people went to get the food with Novita while the rest of us got escorted to the BBQ pit.


Jasper and his tarot card reading! Attraction of the day tbh and also the root of my worries for the night LOL pretty accurate for things that I already know so I'm guessing that things I don't know must be true too. Which ain't good because well.

Holy smokes ahah grateful to those who spent most of the time BBQ-ing for us because I was one of the ones slacking... oops.

I don't remember this happening LOL I may have been that drunk. Tried vodka with coke/sprite/guava juice and gosh I don't understand the love for it! So bitter as heck I might as well drink herbal tea plus it's better for health too right.

Was chased out of the place soon so we went to the top with the swimming pool to slack. Nothing much tbh other than evading chicken wings and watching shadows swim. Left for the late train with Tammy and Rachael while the rest stayed on.

Caught Life of Pi with Chertian the next day! Gorgeous movie but I regret not reading the book before watching the movie because that's what I do usually ahah. Got distracted near the end where Pi changed his story for the two guys who spoke to him like wth man I think that was a rather interesting part but my brainzxzx

I think this picture is already overexposed as heck but no my hair isn't coloured even under such harsh lighting conditions LOL FML SOB ):

I DYED MY HAIR.... DUN DUN DUN

I know people are shocked because I look too guai/I don't care enough about fashion/this/that/etcetc but okay whatever. Never really had the chance because the holidays were too short and I didn't want to dye whatever colour back to black just for school so I've waited pretty long for this.

Mum helped me to dye hair and I nearly died because the sensory nerves on my head are extremely sensitive and it was so ticklish fml. Had to use two dye bottles because my hair's that long lol omg.


Aluminium foil helmet because the solution was really runny and I had to keep the dye on my head for 45 minutes... so yeah.

Washing the dye off was a nightmare btw, they could have used the bathroom as a scene in Dexter wtf. Blood splattered everywhere and I scared myself twice thinking I was bleeding from the neck down (like an idiot) wtf.

In real life it looks more like the before picture unless I put my hair under direct sunlight, but even when I do it's nowhere near the colour in the picture above.
